Position Details :
- Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC / CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Location : South Bend Community School Corporation, South Bend, IN
- Type : Full-Time
- Hours : 37.5 hours per week
- School Year : 2024-2025
- Student Age Group : Kindergarten to 12th Grade
- Current Staff : VOCO SLPs, Onsite SLPs, and SLPAs already placed
Responsibilities :
As an SLP or SLPA with our district, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving students' communication skills.
Your duties will include :
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Delivering therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create a supportive environment for students.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of comprehensive educational plans.
Qualifications :
- For SLPs : Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY).
- For SLPAs : Relevant certification and / or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Valid licensure to practice in the state of Indiana.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
