Description
The RN-Administrative Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the medical center during the shift to which he / she is assigned.
Expertise is demonstrated through innovative problem solving in clinical practice. The RN-Administrative Supervisor is a leader and change agent in the pursuit of improved nursing practice and quality patient care.
Is responsible for administrative issues and daily maintenance of the facility with leadership functions directed at facilitating the smooth delivery of patient care on their shift.
The RN-Administrative Supervisor functions independently and demonstrates professional accountability by adhering to professional standards.
The RN-Administrative Supervisor will act as Incident Commander designee when the disaster plan is activated until a senior administrative person is available to assume responsibility.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Preferred but Required within 6 months of assuming position
Experience :
3 years Nursing - Acute Care - Required
1 year Nursing - Progressive Leadership Experience - Required
Certifications / Licensures :
RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
Skills :
Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Pay Range :
$79.56 - $119.33HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated / relevant experience and / or licensure.
Note : Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
The work shift will contain the word exempt’ on it.
