About The Position

- must have 1 prior travel assignmentLicense : Valid state license required; specific requirements depend on locationCertifications : AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, BLSMust-Have : Must register for C-EFM during the compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignmentJob Description : - Work in the Labor and Delivery unit with required skills including circulate, FHM, preceptor, and / or charge- Float to like units such as Mom / Baby;
- travelers float before permanent staff- Cover every other weekend / holiday as needed- 36-hour contract includes on-call requirement : 24 hours over a 6-week period;
- must be on premises within 45 minutes of receiving call- 48-hour contract has no on-call requirement- Preference for candidates with triage experience and high-risk L&D experience- Patient ratio : 1 : 2- Provide care in a short-term acute care facility that is a teaching hospital with 338 total staffed beds- Utilize Cerner for charting- Required to have the flu vaccine with no exemptions- Complete required modules pre-start and potentially during orientation;
orientation includes 28 hoursNote : Schedule flexibility required; facility cannot guarantee a set schedule.
