A Design Validation Specialist contributes to Ion Solar by confirming solar designs with customers, handling any changes to the system layout / size and completing financing change orders throughout the solar process.
Duties / Responsibilities : Call customers once their final design is created to confirm their layoutAssist customers with the layout of the panels to provide maximum production and aestheticsWork closely with the design department if any changes are needed to the system.
Process financial changesCreate and retrieve updated contract documentsCommunicate changes and issues effectively with sales representatives in the fieldField inbound customer calls with design inquiriesRequired Skills / Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
