Title : Bookkeeper / Inventory MGMT Analyst
Location : Marietta, GA Onsite
Type : 6-month Contract to Hire
Conversion Salary : $45k - $55k
Responsibilities :
Financial Management :
Manage and maintain the accuracy of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile complex bank statements and financial accounts to ensure precision in financial
reporting.
Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, providing
valuable insights to management.
Inventory Oversight :
Lead the inventory control process, overseeing the tracking of items coming into and leaving
the pawn shop.
Implement and enhance efficient inventory management systems to optimize tracking,
reduce shrinkage, and improve overall accuracy.
Conduct regular comprehensive physical counts and promptly address any inventory
discrepancies.
Transaction Management :
Oversee the recording of all transactions related to pawned, bought, and sold items
accurately in the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations and maintain meticulous documentation for all
transactions.
Collaboration and Leadership :
Collaborate effectively with other departments, including sales, security, and management,
ensuring seamless coordination in all inventory-related processes.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members within the bookkeeping and
inventory management team.
Compliance Management :
- Stay abreast of local regulations and legal requirements related to pawn shop operations.
- Ensure the pawn shop's compliance with financial and inventory management regulations,
implementing necessary changes as needed.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related experience in bookkeeping.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior bookkeeper or inventory management specialist,
preferably within the pawn shop or similar industries.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and point-of-sale systems.
Knowledge & expertise using QuickBooks online preferred certified
Exceptional Excel skills for complex financial analysis and reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address intricate inventory discrepancies and financial
challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a
team.
Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
