Southern States Insurance is looking for a talented and compassionate COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER who thrives in a client-centric environment.
An Account Manager plays a fundamental role in serving our Commercial Lines clients throughout their policy periods. You must be comfortable having phone conversations and emailing with clients, working with our carrier partners, rating personal insurance policies online, processing claims notifications and providing proof of insurance.

Responsibilities
- Provide existing clients with certificates of insurance, process changes, report claims, etc
- Assist producers in the writing of new accounts, and maintenance of current accounts
- Work directly with underwriters to ensure accurate coverages for our clients
- Maintain follow-up and suspense files on outstanding orders and correspondence
Requirements
Must have an active P&C Insurance License
Candidate must be able to work from 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm EST Monday-Friday.
Must have one or more of the following designations : CISR, CIC, ARM, or CPCU
Preferred candidate resides in Indiana, Georgia, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, Virginia, and Michigan.
Remote candidate must provide own equipment set up
Applied Systems Epic experience preferred
Ability to complete ACORD applications and carrier supplemental applications correctly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-up
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
