We are looking for candidates who identify with the previous listed qualities and are interested in a position within our Customer Service Department - Main Office.
About the Job :
As a Customer Service Representative with Blue Science you are part of a team that provides top level service and problem-solving to our customer base.
This is not a standard position where you take a call and never speak to the customer again; it is not a "switch-board operator" type of position.
We are looking for individuals who have a PASSION and DRIVE for truly outstanding customer service, who can solve problems and work with customers in every situation, who go above and beyond EVERY DAY to exceed our customer's expectations.
SERVICE to the client is the primary objective. We believe in promoting from within, and the customer service role is the perfect way to get into the company and show what you can do!
Core Position Objectives :
- Answer all calls in real time, with a goal of no calls to voice mail
- Listen to customer complaints and work with the Customer Service Manager towards a resolution
- Be a Listener , Be Service Minded
- Coordinate with our field staff in a support role
- Be a problem solver : Own the situation and WOW the customer!
- Be a TEAM player. If you want a single task only, this isn't the job for you!
- Work emails from multiple inboxes
- Complete daily and weekly tasks as assigned
Schedule :
Monday - Friday : 40 to 45 hours per week, depending on season
Saturday : Once or twice per month, 9 AM to 2 PM
Business needs may dictate additional hours as needed.
Basic Qualifications :
- 3+ Years in Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be a self-starter and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Must be accountable and responsible with customer information
- Tech Savvy : Excellent understanding of windows, apps, internet, and basic computer functions.
- Home-row typer, minimum of 40 wpm.
- Be able to handle a fast-paced, high stress environment
- Excellent phone voice and friendly presence / demeanor
- Able and willing to work hard in a growing company
Preferred Qualifications :
- Former supervisory experience in a call center environment
- Good job history
