Senior Accountant

Position :  Senior Accountant (title is flexible)

Schedule :  Hybrid – about 50% onsite (3 days in during close weeks, 2 days in otherwise)

About the Opportunity :

A fast-growing, PE-backed company is building out its accounting and finance function. Right now, it’s a team of one, and this new role will serve as the right hand to the current lead, so there’s room to grow as the team expands.

The Role :

This is a newly created position for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and help establish structure in a scaling environment. You’ll handle a mix of GL accounting, AP, and AR while also driving month-end close, reporting, and system transitions. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to shape processes and take on broader responsibilities.

What They’re Looking For :

Solid GL accounting experience (minimum 3 years)

Background in a small or mid-sized company - this needs to be someone who does not rely on too many systems / tools

Someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats

Personable, outgoing, and collaborative — not just behind the computer

Comfortable working in the grey and figuring things out without a ton of structure

Bonus :  NetSuite experience and / or job costing / coding experience (helpful for building P&Ls by location in the future)
