Commercial Installation Technician team members are required to take the appropriate steps to guard and provide protection and safety on the client and employer’s premises.

Commercial Installer Objectives :
- Service, install, inspect, program, and repair advanced fire alarm system panels, annunciators, control modules, monitor modules, signaling devices, initiating devices, communicators, etc.
- Work with large commercial and chain accounts to resolve problems with burglar, fire, CCTV, and card access equipment
- Proficiency with Notifier, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, and Honeywell fire alarm controls and devices
- Service, install and repair CCTV equipment to include DVR’s, analog cameras, and IP cameras
Experience / Skills / Education Required :
- Minimum 2 years experience in the alarm industry or relatable repair and wiring of low voltage systems
- Vocational or trade school courses in electrical, electronics, or communication systems preferred
- Formal education in computer hardware, operating systems, and network and IP functions helpfully preferred
- Climbing ladders at heights of 25 feet
- Occasionally working in high or low-temperature areas
