Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate and enhance patient care services.
- Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, policies, and procedures to meet the changing needs of residents.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to enhance resident care and support.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall success and growth of the nursing home.
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications :
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Proven experience in nursing leadership and management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
