Job Title : Registered Nurse
Department : Emergency Room
Location : Des Moines, IA 50309
Shift : 12-hour night shifts, with options for either 36 or 48 hours per week.
Duration : 13 weeks.
Responsibilities :
- Provide critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Assess and triage patients, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies.
- Utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
Requirements :
- Current RN license in the state of Iowa or compact state.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications may be required or preferred depending on the facility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and team members.
Additional Notes :
- The position may involve exposure to high-stress situations and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Candidates must be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
