Position : HVAC Service Technician
Pay : $32 / hour - $48 / hour
Location : Fort Collins, CO
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues and solutions regardless of their technical knowledge; provide clear next steps if a problem isn't resolved.
- Utilize troubleshooting guides to quickly identify problems.
- Address customers' questions and concerns before departing from the work site.
- Use appropriate tools and instruments for troubleshooting.
- Assist other service representatives with solutions and help resolve customer issues.
- Schedule arrivals and departures with customers.
- Offer tactful suggestions if system issues are customer-induced.
- Determine priorities based on the call schedule, manage interruptions, carry necessary tools and materials, and schedule vehicle maintenance.
- Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Stay current on technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts by reading applicable manuals.
Requirements :
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC components, including built-up systems and package units, chiller air handler pump towers, cooling towers, control systems, boilers, air handling systems, refrigeration, and controls.
- Universally EPA Certified.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider.
- Stoop, squat, or kneel for up to 10 minutes at a time.
- Lift 75 lbs. from floor to waist repeatedly.
- Lift 50 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
- Carry 30 lbs. while climbing stairs or ladders. Benefits :
