Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) working at the Kearney day center locations.

Location : Kearney, NE

What You’ll Do : Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. As a DSP you will assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings.

Hours : 7am-3pm during the weekdays that you're scheduled to work with every other weekend required.

Skillset Needed for the Job : Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals. Understand the importance of documentation.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Experience not required – we will train you!

Pay : Starting pay is $16 an hour. We pay more for experience and CNA license. We also offer CEU's for CNA's to keep your license active while you do meaningful and life transforming work as a DSP!
