We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented manager with a strong background in pharmaceutical analysis, combined with the ability to create robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.
The role involves analyzing pharmaceutical market trends, assessing financial performance, and providing valuable insights to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities :
Pharmaceutical Market Analysis :
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the pharmaceutical industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate the impact of market dynamics on the company's products and strategies.
Financial Modeling :
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess the financial performance of the company and its projects.
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Forecasting and Budgeting :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and realistic financial forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Data Analysis :
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to pharmaceutical sales, pricing, and market share.
- Utilize statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Utilize real-world evidence and claims data to support evidence-based decision-making in product development and market strategies
Strategic Decision Support :
- Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making processes, including mergers and acquisitions, product launches, and market expansions.
- Collaborate with senior management to assess the financial feasibility and potential impact of strategic initiatives.
Reporting and Presentation :
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Communicate complex financial information in a comprehensible manner.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business / Market / Financial Analyst with a focus on the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Strong proficiency in pharmaceutical claims data analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools and software (e.g., Excel, VBA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with pharmaceutical product lifecycle analysis
- Knowledge of valuation techniques and methodologies
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

$110,000 - $164,000
