Seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician in the Bristol, PA area for a well-respected, multi-location Transportation Equipment Sales and Service company.
Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers. Regular duties include basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and / or dealer-owned transportation equipment in the shop and service locations.
Diesel Technician Responsibilities :
- Performs basic diagnostics and both major and minor repairs
- Preforms electrical system repairs
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Efficient worker able to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.
- Team player and people person who can communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
Diesel Technician Qualifications :
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of dealership experience
- Ideal candidate will have certifications and / or experience with all or most of these systems : Cummins, Paccar, Allison, Eaton
- Direct experience with Peterbilt and / or Kenworth
- Electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair is required
- Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license
