Summary Description : Links Global seeks a talented and dynamic Communications Specialist / Audience Researcher to support our marketing communications team.

The Communications Specialist / Audience Researcher will play a critical role in conducting audience research, analyzing data, and developing targeted communication strategies.

This position requires a keen understanding of marketing research, data analysis, and communication tactics to supporting public awareness, education, and outreach efforts to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in audience segmentation, communication planning, and leveraging data insights to inform marketing strategies.

Qualifications : At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on audience research and data analysis.

Proven experience in conducting audience research, segmentation, and developing targeted communication strategies. Familiarity and experience working with federal agencies or organizations specializing in supporting public awareness, education, and outreach efforts to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases, preferred Key Responsibilities and Tasks : Conduct thorough audience research, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, to understand audience preferences, needs, and behaviors.

Develop audience segmentation strategies to tailor communication messages and materials for specific target groups. Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop impactful communication materials based on audience insights.

Work closely with the marketing communications team to create and implement communication plans that resonate with diverse audiences.

Monitor and analyze the performance of communication campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization. Utilize social media analytics, website metrics, and other data sources to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Examples of Relevant Employment History and Accomplishments : Led audience research initiatives that resulted in promoting disease prevention, improving targeting and engagement of communication campaigns.

Successfully developed and implemented communication strategies that reached and resonated with diverse and underrepresented audiences.

Utilized data insights to inform marketing decisions and optimize communication materials for increased effectiveness. Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Master's degree preferred. Skills : Strong research and data analysis skills to conduct audience research and evaluate campaign performance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop compelling communication materials. Proficiency in social sciences research, marketing communication principles, data analysis, digital marketing strategies, media placement, knowledge dissemination, dissemination and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Provide Sample Work of Marketing Communication Experience : Non-communicable disease prevention and management campaigns targeting.

Health awareness initiatives. Social science research studies. Messaging and strategic communication targeted to the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Communication materials and products. Strategic communication plans. Media placement plans and reports, for both paid and earned media Provide Samples of Relevant Expertise Communicating with Diverse Audiences : Developing culturally and linguistically appropriate communication materials for diverse populations.
