Job DescriptionAssesses the specific needs of individual patients and programs from a Creative Arts Therapy perspective, particularly from the specific professional background of their discipline : Art, Dance, Music or Drama TherapyQualificationsMasters Degree in Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy or Drama Therapy.

Completion of supervised clinical training at the graduate level in an institution certified or recognized by the specific national certifying or registering organization.

Luke'sResponsibilities1.Plans and implements individual and group Creative Arts Therapy programs appropriate for the setting2.

Provides case management to program patients3.Carries a caseload and coordinate Case Management as defined by the setting4.

Assesses status of patients, assists patients in problem identification and realistic, disposition oriented treatment planning5.

Follows patients progress6.Makes treatment plan recommendations7.Coordinates all treatment for caseload8.Makes specific program and treatment recommendations regarding the creative / expressive needs of patients9.

Develops and implements, through documentation and protocols, the types of treatment appropriate to area of specialization10.

Develops and adapts treatment goals and modalities for patients unable to tolerate group interactions11.When credentialed and / or adequately supervised, may conduct group therapy or other specialized treatment modalities12.
