Overview :
We are excited to invite a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lindstrom, MN for the upcoming school year.
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs, adapting teaching methods as required.
- Monitor and assess student progress, modifying instructional strategies to ensure academic growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive educational environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and adjustment of educational plans and accommodations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
