We are looking for a self-motivated, sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our outstanding team. Requirements :

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ACNP) Licensed in Texas. (New Grads OK!)
  • Self-motivated, sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic.
  • Passionate about working in an interdisciplinary care team model.
  • Strong desire to consistently care for patients while supporting the overall clinical team and mission.
  • Ability to multitask and provide an exceptional patient care experience.
  • Excellent listening skills, adaptable to different learning styles, and effective communication to educate patients.
  • Desire to grow both as a clinician and as a person.

What you will do :

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients with various manifestation of venous insufficiency, arterial disease, dermopathies, lipedema, and lymphedema to include : complete medical history, conducting evaluations and physical tests, establishing diagnoses utilizing medical ultrasound, and developing and overseeing plans of care.

Interpretation of clinical findings to include labs and imaging.

  • Completes medical documentation on patients along with appropriate referral.
  • Educate patients on current disease state and appropriate plan of care.
  • Evaluate ultrasound study results and communicate findings to patients. Participate in point of care ultrasound. Develop ultrasound talents to eventually sit for RVT exam.
  • Provide follow-up treatments and care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physicians to include medication prescription and management.
  • Promote the mission of MVC while overseeing clinical staff and working with interdisciplinary providers.
  • Handle communications between patients, providers, DME and other stakeholders.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional hospitality and clinical care treatments to patients.
