WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE IN TORRANCE, CA
Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Associate in TORRANCE, CA.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be :
- Responsible for restocking all the tools in the vending machines daily.
- Receiving packages, cycle counting, stocking, maintenance and light clerical work such as issuing orders, sending out emails to expedite orders / requesting status on orders with suppliers.
- The material handler will be responsible for spot buy receiving and delivery of products to the receiving department.
- Associate will manage VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) counts.
- Wear appropriate PPE determined by the customer such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves and ear plugs.
This is a Full-time , contract opportunity.
Duration : 6 Months
The ideal candidate will have :
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory is preferred.
- Forklift Operator experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Pay Rate : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
