Job Title : Part-Time Barista
Location : Jersey Bagels, 9522 Huffmeister rd, suite 500 Houston, TX
About Us : Jersey Bagels is a growing bagel shop in NW Houston, TX, Known for our east coast style bagels and warm family atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on serving high-quality products and providing exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team!
Position : We are seeking a motivated and friendly Part-Time Barista to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Barista Duties :
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Operate coffee machines and equipment, following proper procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee station.
- Sandwhich Prep :
- Wrap sandwiches and hand out orders.
- Assemble cream cheese and deli sandwiches.
- Customer Service :
- Take and process customer orders with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Additional Tasks :
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning.
- Support team members with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and take on various responsibilities, including bagel preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
