About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, youll be responsible for analyzing blueprints, preparing competitive cost estimates, and ensuring accurate proposals for a variety of electrical projects. Youll work closely with project managers, operations, and accounting to ensure a smooth transition from bid to build, while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine material, equipment, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare, assemble, and submit complete bid proposals, including takeoffs, supplier / subcontractor quotes, and cost breakdowns.
• Lead pre-bid activities, including attending meetings, site visits, and bid reviews.
• Identify areas of concern and provide creative, cost-effective solutions for challenging projects.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure seamless project hand-offs.
• Support procurement by preparing purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Track and analyze bid outcomes to continuously improve estimating strategies.
• Stay current with electrical codes, distribution systems, and industry best practices.
