Salary : $35.32 - $40.02 / hour + $2 shift differential

About Us : Amalgamated Sugar is a leader in the food production industry, specializing in sugar production. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team in Twin Falls.

This role is vital to ensuring the efficiency and safety of our operations, directly contributing to the high quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Electrical System Installation & Maintenance : Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, and control equipment, adhering to specifications and local electrical codes.
• Blueprints & Layout Preparation : Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to ensure accurate placement of wiring and equipment, with a focus on precision before wall, ceiling, and floor completion.
• Conduit & Wire Installation : Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit and wiring both inside and outside the factory.
• Wiring & Equipment Connection : Splice and connect wires, install control apparatus such as switches and circuit breakers, and ensure secure power connections to equipment like pumps and motors.
• Safety & Testing : Conduct tests using ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and other tools to ensure circuit continuity and the safety of all electrical components.
• High Voltage Maintenance : Maintain and repair high-voltage equipment, including generators, motors, and transformers.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with team members, following company policies, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Licensing & Experience : Journeyman Electrician License with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial electrical work.
• Specialized Skills : High-voltage experience is required; additional experience in reliability, motor analysis, or vibration analysis is a plus.
• Education : High school diploma or GED required.
