The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our beautiful and vibrant senior Assisted Living community in Sarasota, Florida.
This LPN position includes :
- every Friday; 24 hours per pay period
- Day Shift - 7am-7pm, 12 hour shits
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- Part-Time Benefit Eligible : (Paid Time Off, Retirement)

- Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
- Lifts and transfer residents as needed
- Initiates emergency treatment as needed
- Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
- Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
- May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans
Required :
- FL LPN licensure by start date
- AHA (American Heart Association) BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred :
- Previous healthcare experience
- Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
