Hybrid position available! A client based in Paramus, NJ is currently seeking an Human Resources Generalist to support their group through a restructuring on a long-term contract basis.
The Human Resources Generalist will handle a variety of responsibilities including benefits, processing documents for FMLA and other leaves of absence, handling workman's compensation situations, and acting as a backup to the payroll administrator.
The ideal Human Resources Generalist will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Administrator or Generalist capacity, will be proficient with ADP software, and will have excellent communication skills.

- Must have a solid understanding of the Food & Food Processing industry
- Prior experience in an HR Generalist role is required
- Proficiency in Benefits Administration is essential for this position
- Experience with ADP - Payroll is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Compensation Administration is necessary
- Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is required
- Experience with Payroll - Union is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
