The General Surgery / Trauma Clinical Nurse I contributes to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through acts of kindness and active listening.
This role involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care for patients.
The nurse also collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients and works closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
Unit Description : B3 is a large in-patient post-surgical unit that cares for patients from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Step-down Unit, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.
The service population includes trauma, orthopedics, ENT, thoracic, plastics, and bariatric patients.
