We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a travel assignment in Billings, MT.
Job Description :
As a Travel CVOR RN, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. Your role will be essential in supporting the surgical team and ensuring patient safety during plex cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing patients for cardiovascular surgeries, including pre-operative assessments
- Work alongside surgeons and anesthesiologists during open-heart and vascular procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and provide intraoperative care
- Maintain sterile environments and follow all surgical protocols
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful outes and efficient workflow
Requirements :
- Current RN license in the state of Montana
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and critical care
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Willingness to travel for assignments
