Summary

Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Armed School Safety Officer to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of our staff, scholars, and stakeholders within the school premises.

Duties

Key Responsibilities :

1.Conduct regular patrols on the campus, including walking around the perimeter to monitor activity and deter potential threats.

2.Manage and direct traffic flow to ensure the smooth operation of vehicular movement on school grounds.

3.Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized individuals are admitted while maintaining a welcoming and courteous demeanor towards parents and partners of the school.

4.Develop and implement evacuation plans in coordination with school safety protocols and guidelines.

5.Collaborate with staff to enhance school safety practices and identify areas for improvement in security measures.

6.Maintain regular communication by disseminating weekly updates and safety information to the Head of School, Operations Director, and other relevant members of the administration.

7.Act as a point of contact for any safety-related concerns and emergencies, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the well-being of all individuals on campus.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Christian reference from pastor, community, or spiritual leader
• Possession of a valid armed security officer license
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and crisis management protocols

Part-Time : 2 : 30 PM 7 : 00 PM (No Benefits)
