Summary
Mt. Washington Baptist Daycare is expanding and is now looking for exceptional people to add to its team. if you enjoy helping children learn, grow and become the best they can possibly be, we cant wait to hear from you.
We are currently seeking a fun, flexible and reliable individual to work with our school-age children. the hours typically would be a 1 to 6pm or possibly a 2 to 6pm mondays through fridays.
this would turn into a full time position over school breaks and in the summer. if this sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to apply
Duties
- Helping School-Agers with homework
- Taking children to and from local schools
- Helping keep the classroom neat and organized
- Communicating with parents
- Ensuring the safety and well-being off all children in their care
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older (Minimum age of 25 for driving the bus)
- Be able to pass a background check
- Stay current on state mandated trainings and classes
- At least one year of experience (preferred)
- Clean Driving record (Required for Bus Driving)
- Other tasks as assigned
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SUTQ (Step Up to Quality)
- Comfortable driving a 15 passenger childcare bus (Non-CDL)
- CDA (Child Development Associates is a plus but not required)
Benefits
1 week paid vacation after one year
2 weeks paid vacation after 2 years
3 weeks paid vacation after 5 years
$.50 increase in hourly wages if your have the ability to drive the center vehicles
