Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) RN – Travel Assignment\n📍 Department : MedSurg\n\n# of Beds : 25 total (4 are Special Care Unit (SCU) beds with ICU / stepdown level care)\n\n🕒 Shifts & Scheduling : \n\nShift Length : 12-hour shifts\n\nShift Times : 07 : 00 – 19 : 30\n\nScheduling : Block scheduling only (no self- scheduling)\n\nWeekend Requirement : 2 out of every 4 weekends\n\nHoliday Requirement : Assigned holiday coverage; travelers must be flexible to fill in as needed\n\nCall / Standby : None required\n\nFloating : No floating outside the unit\n\n🛏️ Nurse-to-Patient Ratios : \n\nDays MedSurg : 1 : 3-4\n\nNights MedSurg : 1 : 4-5\n\nSCU (ICU / stepdown) Vented : 1 : 1-1 : 2\n\nSCU with drips : 1 : 3\n\nSome nurses will care for both SCU and MedSurg patients depending on acuity\n\n💉 Certifications Required : \n\nBLS (required for all)\n\nACLS (required for all)
