Real Estate Attorney Chicago, IL
Position Summary :
Seeking an attorney with at least 10 years of experience for its Real Estate business unit in its Chicago, IL office. This attorney’s primary focus will be on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate and will be responsible for (a) drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements from letter of intent through execution, (b) performing and supervising due diligence activities, including title, survey, zoning, and other general diligence, (c) developing and implementing practical solutions to any issues raised during due diligence in consultation with the client, and (d) and managing the closing process.
The candidate must demonstrate responsiveness and commitment to clients and be able to work independently without supervision and manage internal and external support effectively and efficiently.
Candidates with experience representing real estate development clients as well as experience with general corporate and transactional matters are preferred.
Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, should possess a solid work ethic and work well under pressure for this fast-paced, high-volume practice.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously are also required.
All candidates must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Portable business a plus, but not a requirement.
Position Requirements :
