E-commerce Manager
Cantrip, Inc. is a hemp beverage manufacturing company. In partnership with manufacturing facilities, Cantrip produces flavorful, low-dose seltzers and other beverages for sale in the hemp cannabis markets.
We are the social seltzer, creating great-tasting cannabis beverage products for people to enjoy together. Cantrip is a fast-paced, growing start-up in the hemp and cannabis space.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for the management of all ecommerce functions within Cantrip, working to maximize direct to consumer conversion and revenue.
This manager will take our existing store and develop a strategy to scale it using the latest DTC industry practices. The qualified candidate will have experience running consumer-facing ecommerce stores, previous experience in social media buying, and extensive understanding of the required compliance practices.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead all e-commerce activity, including scheduling and running ads on various social platforms.
- Develop, maintain, and execute on social media strategy including paid media purchasing.
- Work to resolve any compliance issues with social media companies to minimize advertising downtime.
- Keep up to date on social media trends and paid advertising best practices.
- Work with creators to generate content for use in organic and paid social.
- Work with third-party agencies and internal stakeholders on SEO.
- Direct and develop content creation for use in organic and paid social.
- Optimize email flows.
- Track and report on KPIs such as CAC, LTV, customer retention, and churn.
- Work with the web design team to optimize web conversion and functionality.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 3-7 years experience in a related role.
- Team player accustomed to wearing many hats.
- Previous experience in beverage or CPG marketing preferred.
- Previous experience in running DTC e-commerce activities required.
- Experience with graphic design preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity and aptitude with email, Microsoft Office, and printing software.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
- A passion for products.
- Strong communicator who can provide exceptional customer service and react quickly to identify and solve problems.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be 21+.
