Role & Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement Oracle Suite applications using J2EE framework.
- Consult with customers on technical design and development of software applications and modifications.
- Evaluate integration between multiple systems, including hardware and software, considering operational and performance requirements.
- Develop and direct software system technical design procedures, programming, technical testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with functional, architecture, and quality assurance teams to review documentation, address issues, and support roles within the development lifecycle.
- Create technical design documentation for software changes and development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Analyze, design, and document system implementation and extensions, and follow best practices for design and deployment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in the retail or software integrator industry
- 3+ years of experience and proficiency with 1+ (Point of Sale) POS system
- 7+ years of experience in Java software design and / or development.
Spring framework experience is preferable.
- 3+ years of experience as a consultant or in an internal consulting role.
- 5+ years of experience working with distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Experience leading a development team is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases preferred
