• Registered Nurse RNutilizes the nursing process in the care of designated Residentsadministers medications & treatments to residents &documents appropriately on assigned nursingunit
• Registered Nurse RN Reports findings ofongoing observations / assessments to the designated Charge NurseNursing Supervisor & / or UnitManager
• Registered Nurse RN demonstratesknowledge of basic test / lab collection values deliver directresident care consistent with the policies / procedures &Resident Bill of Rights in combination with demonstrated clinicalskills / knowledge
• Identify / respond timely topatient concerns / needs
• Demonstrate effectiveinterpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriate qualitypatient care
• Registered Nurse RN will prepareresident assignments considering the category of needs of thepatient & competency of personnel monitor / evaluate the flow ofactivity & delivery of patient care provided (positioningbathing etc.

assure documentation records (ADLs meal intakeetc.) are completed for CNAs

Registered NurseRN is punctual and / or provides proper notification for lateness orabsenteeism

Requirements :

• Graduate of an approved school ofnursing
• Licensed & registered in goodstanding in New York State as an RN
• Experiencewith geriatric patients is desirable but not required. New grad RN welcome toapply!
• Sincere desire to workwith the elderly chronically ill &disabled
• Possess a spirit of cooperation &enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation& growth
• Knowledge of medical social &psychological needs of residents general nursing theory &practice & infection preventionprinciples / methods
• Ability to communicate wellverbally with residents families &staff
