As a Behavioral Health Direct Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support for individuals mental and behavioral health challenges and their day-to-day activities in their home and community.

What will I be doing?

A quick highlight of some of the things our Behavioral Health Direct Support Specialists do :

• Provide residential assistance in our Intensive Residential Support Housing (IRSH) for individuals with acute psychiatric and behavioral health disorders.
• Assist our clients with behavioral health, coping skills, and de-escalation
• Support clients in meeting their goals
• Provide quality service and support to people we serve
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for people we serve
• Document progress on client behavior, activity, and goals

What will my schedule be?

Evenings- 2 : 45pm-11pm (all evening shifts have a $2 per hour pay differential, additional $1 per hour for Fri, Sat, and Sun shifts)

3 weekends per month, with one 4 day weekend off every month.

What do I need?

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company
• AT least 1 year employment experience as a Behavioral Health Technician, Psychiatric Technician, or in the criminal justice field
• 2 years DSP or residential facility experience in the behavioral / mental health field

Pay : $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
