Overview : Exciting opportunity for a highly accomplished and strategic leader to fill the role of Vice President of Sales, Walmart Partnerships.
This VP of Sales position is based on site in Arkansas, leading strategy and sales vision with a thriving team. This pivotal position will be responsible for driving revenue growth and establishing strong business relationships with Walmart, one of team’s key retail partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful sales leadership, a deep understanding of the retail industry, Walmart vendor experience and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
The VP of Sales, Walmart Partnerships will be responsible for team development including 5 direct reports, forward looking team needs, and managing the Walmart team to deliver on stated goals.
The VP of Sales, Walmart Partnerships acts as the liaison between Walmart and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects and programs to the account.
This leader is an integral part of a dedicated Walmart Team to ensure category exceeding growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Partnership Development :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Walmart partnerships, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Walmart, leveraging existing relationships and forging new ones to drive revenue growth.
- Team Leadership :
- Build and lead the current high-performing sales team, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales organization, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
- Sales Performance Management :
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize monthly sales performance.
- Implement effective sales forecasting and reporting processes to provide timely and accurate insights to the executive team.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart, understanding their business needs and ensuring our products and services align with their goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact between our organization and Walmart, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
- Market Analysis and Insight :
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Utilize market insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and other key business decisions.
- Travel & Location :
- This position is based onsite in the Arkansas Office.
- Additional work travel is required : 30-40% Biweekly Travel to Walmart HQ and to company HQ (8-12x per year).
Qualifications :
- Proven Experience :
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a focus on retail partnerships and CPG.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets within a complex and dynamic sales environment.
- Strategic Thinker :
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
- Leadership Skills :
- Exceptional people leadership and team-building experience, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Communication and Relationship Building :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.

- Bachelor's Degree :
- Graduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
Working Conditions : Good working conditions, with the absence of disagreeable conditions.
Salary : $180-200k plus bonus
