Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Wilmington, NC
Type : Full-Time
Role Overview : As an SLP, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
You will work with clients of all ages to develop and implement individualized therapy plans designed to help them achieve their communication goals and improve their daily functioning.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy to clients and monitor their progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to support ongoing improvement and communication development.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in specific settings or populations, if applicable is advantageous.
