The Sr. Subscriptions Growth Manager will define and manage the execution of Blink’s subscriptions strategy and growth plan.

This includes many foundational elements of Blink’s evolving growth strategy, including subscriptions positioning, pricing, commercial and channel strategy.

With a focus on North America, the role leverages customer, competitive, product and channel intelligence to define the business requirements for new subscription strategies.

The role identifies opportunities to maximize the annual recurring revenue of Blink’s subscription. This role operates within Blink’s current business model, as well as defining forward looking roadmap opportunities.

For example, one of the key responsibilities of this role is to drive priority across the matrixed Blink organization, to deliver the business-critical needs of Blink’s current and future customers.

We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in an extremely fast paced environment. The successful candidate is capable of managing multiple cross-functional teams, acting as a single-threaded-owner of complex growth strategy without always having direct ownership.

This role drives Blink’s long-term subscriptions strategy to maximize new subscriber acquisition and existing subscriber retention, while expanding the offers that Blink provides its subscribing customers e.

g. introducing new subscription value through incremental hardware, software, and service strategy. The role will own key components of Blink’s 3-year planning and influence strategic decisions, with visibility to the top levels of senior management in Amazon Devices.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and drive key initiatives that deliver the Blink subscription strategy.
  • Identify long-term growth opportunities that acquire and retain Blink subscribers.
  • Write business requirements documents, define use cases and customer experience, and own the business metrics and KPIs for your subscription products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence new hardware and software product features that align with customer needs. Displays a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships and earn trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Partner with BIEs on data analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and behavior, informing tailored sales strategies for different customer segments.

Conduct customer research as needed.

Leverages problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to break down complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Aligning these solutions across business, product, and finance planning stages.

Leverages customer data and pattern matching to design customer lifecycle strategy; leverages analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify insights, and craft data-driven solutions.

About the team

Blink is in the home security business to provide customers affordable products that protect their home and loved ones. This role reports to the single-threaded-owner of Blink’s Subscription Business in North America (Head of Blink Subscriptions).

The Subscriptions Business team reports into Blink’s Global Business and Strategy organization. This org designs the strategy for Blink's business, one of the fastest growing consumer electronics companies in the world.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations :

North Reading, MA, USA Seattle, WA, USA

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience with recurring revenue strategy, e-commerce and / or software-as-a-service (SAAS)
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, QuickSight, Tableau) is a strong plus.

The base pay for this position ranges from $, / year in our lowest geographic market up to $, / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
