School Hiring Special Education Teacher for New School Year
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Position Title : Special Education Teacher
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Weekly Pay : $40+ / hr
Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive a quality education tailored to their individualized education plans (IEPs).
This role involves adapting curriculum, implementing instructional strategies, and collaborating with school staff and families to support student success and development.
Responsibilities :
Provide direct instruction using specialized teaching techniques and materials.
Assess students' progress and modify instructional methods as needed.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate inclusion and support for students with disabilities.
Use assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance learning experiences.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and progress reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and set goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
State certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
