Workers’ Compensation Defense Associate Attorney
Irvine, CA On-site
We are seeking a motivated Workers’ Compensation Defense Associate Attorney to join our dedicated team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our firm, you will handle all aspects of workers’ compensation defense matters, representing insurers, employers, and third-party administrators.
You will work closely with senior attorneys and claims professionals to ensure efficient case handling and successful outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle workers’ compensation defense cases, from inception through resolution
Collaborate with clients, claims personnel, and employers to develop case strategies
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions
Conduct discovery, depositions, and trials before the WCAB
Manage client communications and ensure timely updates on case progress
Attend hearings and settlement conferences
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active California Bar membership
2+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in this area are encouraged to apply
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work in a fast-paced environment
