Staff Accountant ($70K-$75K) plus bonus
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant for our client in the property management space located in Plano, TX.
The role will play a key part in month-end close and preparation of financial reporting.

Responsibilities :
Review financial statements monthly in accordance with GAAP regulations for non-profit organizations.
Prepare monthly production and financial reports
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Handle cash transactions, including preparing outgoing wires, ACHs, and Reserve Funds transfers.
Oversee the monthly close process and assist in reviewing accounts payable and receivable.
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to review daily batches, ensuring proper account coding and approval.
Review journal entries prepared by junior or peer accounting staff for accuracy and compliance.
Facilitate onboarding new client relationships, ensuring smooth transitions through effective communication and monitoring.
Prepare both recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
Support various operational tasks to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Adhere to all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct annual association audits in collaboration with CPA firms.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
5+ years of accounting experience.
Preferably, experience in property management or common interest development.
Pay Details : $70, to $80, per year
