About the Role

Aegis is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and committed individual to join our team as an accountant. The accountant will be dedicated to supporting the maintenance of our general ledger and financial operations of our business.
General responsibilities include :
- Supporting the period closing process (month end)
- Maintaining and processing our accounts payables
- Analysis to support reconciliation of accounts and sub-ledgers
- Supporting the financial reporting process
- Supporting daily cash reconciliation
- Supporting application of client payments
- Prepare and process accounts receivable credit memos and adjustments
- Coordinate with finance team members to ensure quality control across job functions
- Identify, research, and assist with periodic improvements to processes or systems
- Support billing operations as needed
Requirements :
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or business operations
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
- Understanding and application of accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to solve complex problems proactively
- Technologically savvy and able to learn new software
Strong Skills in :
- Microsoft Excel and usage of functions with large data sets
- General Accepted Accounting Principles
- Accounting closing procedures
Preferred Skills and Exper in :
- Sage Intacct or business financial / ERP platforms
- Financial reporting
- Multi-entity businesses and / or environments with 100+ employees
- CPA preferred but not required

The pay range for this role is :
60,000 - 84,000 USD per year(HQ)
