Job Duties and Responsibilities
Head of RF Automation and Tools sought by DISH Wireless in Littleton, CO.
Lead and influence team members in RF Tools comparisons and purchase / develop decisions. Drive methods and processes that enable success for the RF Optimization team both nationally and in the DISH markets.
Provide direction and support for DISH market drive testing, including vendor management and tool roadmaps. Align with PMO on enabling executive reporting of KPI results and trends.
Work with IT requirements aligning solutions to meet network security, data retention, and customer privacy requirements.
Support the RF Optimization Team to develop and implement RAN metrics and KPIs. Provide input to the budget and capacity planning teams on OSS platform requirements.
Perform complex research and analysis of market, technology, standards, customer requirements and competitor trends.
Job requirements :
Requires : Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or closely related field plus 10 years (at least 5 years of which must be post baccalaureate experience) of relevant work experience in job offered, as RF Engineer, or similar role.
Also requires 10 years of work experience using / with the following (which may have been gained concurrently) :
- Wireless network architecture technologies, concepts, and industry standards.
- RF Design or Optimization in a multi-technology network environment.
- RF optimization, network automation, and optimization processes and tools.
- Mobile network design and performance optimization.
- Vendor management and negotiation.
Domestic travel within the United States may be required up to 10% of the time.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, which may include a drug test.
Rate of pay : $193,146.98
