Oaklands Global are thrilled to partner with a prestigious elite boutique investment bank that is expanding its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) with the addition of a second- or third-year Associate for their NYC or Miami office.
Our client is seeking a top bucket Associate with prior FIG experience to join their high-performance team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, reporting directly to the group head.
This is an excellent chance to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining exposure to market leading transactions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist senior bankers in sourcing potential acquisition targets and draft LOIs with target companies.
- Performing extensive valuation, due-diligence, and pricing analyses as well as financial modelling.
- Frequent meetings with prospective targets, clients, senior bankers, and other transaction advisors.
- Coordination of transaction processes, including capital raises and advisory transactions.
- Preparation of proposals, transaction marketing.
- Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years M&A experience at a leading Investment Bank.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics from a top tier schools.
- Previous experience leading and managing projects.
- Excellent organizational, execution and time management skills.
- Team player with competitive drive.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and able to work with tight deadlines.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Proven quantitative and technical skills Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- FINRA Series 63 and 79 registrations.
