Albuquerque Nephrology Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

We are currently seeking a Nurse practitioner to assist with patient management in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, dialysis clinics, and acute care hospitals.

Job Responsibilities :

• Patient assessment
• Review medical records
• Order and review diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Propose treatments for acute and chronic renal diseases
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Educate patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Other duties as assigned

Experience :

• Primary Care : 1 year (Required)
• NP : 1 year (Required)

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :

• Must possess a current RN and CNP license from the NM Board of Nursing
• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
• Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
• CPR Certification for Healthcare / BLS Providers or Professional Rescue
• DEA and Controlled Substance license
