Job Title : Production Team Lead

Location : New Berlin, WI

Salary : $28 - $31 / hour

Overview :

Dynatect Manufacturing is actively seeking a Production Team Lead to manage and coordinate production activities at our New Berlin, WI facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance, driving quality improvements, meeting production goals, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective production management. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the production process and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Safety and Quality :

• Promote a culture of safety and lead safety improvements.
• Conduct daily Tier 1 meetings to set production direction.
• Communicate clear production objectives and ensure quality standards.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications, working closely with engineering.

Production Management :

• Plan and coordinate production schedules, optimizing labor requirements.
• Conduct or delegate cycle counts and manage inventory adjustments.
• Monitor backlog and report updates.
• Oversee the opening and closing of the shop and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Support continuous improvement and production software initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with planning, purchasing, customer service, and materials departments to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.

Team Leadership :

• Collaborate with other Team Leads and departments to align activities.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on both technical and administrative tasks.
• Document performance, conduct reviews, and manage employee records.
• Approve timesheets and PTO requests, while enforcing company policies.

Required Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of relevant production experience
• Knowledge of production operations
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license
