Description
The Behavioral Health department at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join their team. This position will provide clinical mental health services for all ages, with specific focus on children and adolescents. This position will also provide clinical mental health services, including conducting initial clinical interviews with children (ages 5-17) and their families to determine level of functioning and to diagnose mental and / or emotional disorders, completing diagnostic assessment reports (to include presenting problems, psychosocial and medication histories, and psychiatric diagnoses), creating treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy. Additionally, the person in this position will have an opportunity to expand competency to children five years of age and younger as part of our Early Childhood Program. Training will be provided.

This position is located at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 p.m. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis.
