Job Summary : Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.

• This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
• Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

Required Skills & Experience : -Minimum qualifications required for services : -Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Preferred Skills & Experience : -N / A

Required Education : -ASN.Preferred Education : -BSN.Required Certifications & Licensure : -BLS - AHA.-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

NIHSS.Preferred Certifications & Licensure : -ACLS-AHA.
