We are looking for a Sr. Software Test Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role you will be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure code that supports automated testing across multiple frameworks.

You will lead efforts in debugging and resolving test failures, guiding feature teams to develop reliable and scalable tests.

Additionally, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability of Azure DevOps pipelines by taking ownership of complex issues, providing mentorship, and driving continuous improvements in testing practices.

Responsibilities :

Leadership in Automated Testing : Drive the architecture and development of automated testing frameworks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.

Mentor junior engineers in writing and maintaining test cases, scripts, and automation code.

On-Call Engineering Support : Act as a senior on-call engineer, overseeing a rotating schedule with the responsibility of investigating, diagnosing, and resolving pipeline failures.

You will be expected to take decisive action, escalate issues to relevant teams, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration : Engage with multiple engineering teams to understand their testing needs and challenges. Facilitate communication between teams to ensure a unified approach to automated testing and infrastructure reliability.
  • Project Management : Lead and manage key projects related to infrastructure automation, including the migration of testing frameworks and the implementation of new testing technologies.

Ensure all project milestones are met and maintain high standards of quality.

Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify areas for improvement in testing processes and infrastructure. Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce failures, and improve overall test coverage.

Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on automated testing and infrastructure management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows interface, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in testing or automation are preferred.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Azure DevOps and other CI / CD pipelines is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance roles, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in automated testing, as well as experience in implementing them in a large-scale environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl Script, or Windows batch files) with the ability to write and maintain complex scripts for testing purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP), hardware, and operating systems, with a particular emphasis on debugging and problem resolution.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market.

The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state : $75,000 to $80,000 USD / annually.

The salary / wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
