Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Boston, MA 02114. This is a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity and a great way to join a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details :

• Ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining the highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Assist in patient care by rooming patients, taking vitals, performing EKGs, and recording patient information in EPIC.
• Manage the clinical workflow and communicate effectively with both front desk staff and providers.
• Maintain and clean exam rooms and clinical equipment, ensuring areas are properly stocked and calibrated.
• Perform phlebotomy, transport patients as needed, and cover other areas of Cardiology during staff shortages.
• Promote patient and provider satisfaction by maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.

Qualifications :

• Education & Licensing / Credentialing :
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• MA Certification and BLS Certification required.
• EKG Certification required; Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA preferred.
• Years of Experience :
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills.
• Expertise, Knowledge, and Skills Required :
• Proficiency in EPIC and performing EKGs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a strong desire to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Schedule : Days / 5x8 Hours / 40 Hours per week
• Pay Range : $23 - $26 per hour
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
